Our emergency nurses are trained in both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC), ensuring that every patient receives expert, timely, and appropriate care.
Gordon Memorial Hospital is designated as a Basic Level IV Trauma Center by the Nebraska Statewide Trauma System. This means we provide advanced trauma life support prior to patient transfer, including evaluation, stabilization, and diagnostic capabilities.

Average Wait Time
We understand that time matters in an emergency. At GMH, our average emergency room wait time is less than 5 minutes from check-in to being seen by a provider.
PCP Follow-Up After Emergency Visits
After receiving emergency care, your visit summary and treatment plan will be shared with your primary care provider to ensure seamless follow-up. If you do not have a PCP, we can help you establish care with a provider at one of our clinics in Gordon or Rushville.
