At Gordon Memorial Health Services, acute care refers to the short-term treatment of illness, injury, or medical conditions, as well as post-surgical recovery. Our goal is to restore patients to health and stability so they can safely return home or transition to the next level of care.
Acute care is available to patients who need medical attention that cannot be managed on an outpatient basis but does not require long-term hospitalization.
