VA Contract
Gordon Countryside Care is proud to support our nation’s veterans. We hold a contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), allowing eligible veterans to receive long-term care services through VA benefits.
The VA may provide financial assistance for qualifying veterans under several circumstances:
- Respite Care: Respite care offers short-term, temporary care for a veteran so that their regular caregiver can take a break. The VA typically covers up to 14 days per year of respite care. This is a helpful option for families who provide care at home and occasionally need time off for rest, travel, or personal needs.
- Hospice Care: Veterans receiving end-of-life care may have their stay fully covered by the VA.
- Service-Connected Disabilities: Veterans with a 70% or higher service-connected disability rating may also qualify for full coverage of their stay.
If you or your loved one is a veteran, our team can contact the VA on your behalf to help determine eligibility and guide you through the process. We are committed to ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support and care they deserve.
