Busy Bees is licensed with DHHS and the State of Nebraska. All staff are required to complete 12 hours of annual training and must be CPR and First Aide certified. (Renewed every 2 years)

Nicole Hathorn
Nicole has 25 years of experience working with children of all ages. With a large family of 4 children, 1 grandson and 21 nieces and nephews, Nicole has gained tons of experience both personally and professionally when it comes to taking care of kiddos!

Shae Rohrig
Shae was born in the Nebraska panhandle and grew up in Gordon. She pursued her college education in eastern Nebraska, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education. After over 16 years of teaching Pre-K, she took a four year break to focus on her children and run a small home-based center. In October 2023, Shae moved back to Gordon with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She is eager to return to a daycare center and share her passion and expertise in education.

Adrianna Fresquez
Adrianna has always been around kids of all ages. Growing up she used to enjoy helping her babysitter take care of the younger kids. Once Adrianna entered high school, she stated working at the after school program and continued helping out there for 4 years! All throughout high school and her younger years Adrianna knew she had a passion for working with kids!

Samantha Hinkle
Samantha was born and raised in Parachute, Colorado. She came to Nebraska to play basketball at McCook Community College and then went onto Chadron. Samantha decided that she loved Nebraska and wanted to stay awhile! From a young age, Samantha knew she wanted to teach and work with children.

Brianna Fresquez
Brianna has spent most of her life working with children. In her early years, Brianna babysat, and during high school, she worked with kids at the after-school program. Following that experience, Brianna became a paraprofessional at the high school.

AJae McKimmey
Ajae was born and raised in the panhandle of Nebraska. Growing up she babysat for many families around the area and loved it! Ajae always knew she wanted to grow up and teach children. In May of 2025 Ajae received her Associates of Arts Degree from Central Community College in Columbus, NE and is currently working on a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Chadron State College.
