The Gordon Memorial Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable foundation that supports the Gordon Memorial Hospital for many things, including improvements and continuing education for staff.  Contributions to the Foundation are always welcomed and greatly appreciated, and are tax deductible.
 
The Gordon Memorial Hospital Foundation is a volunteer organization promoting the advancement of the hospital through service and fundraising. Individuals, businesses and community donors make contributions through the Foundation to underwrite physical improvements, equipment costs and special projects for the hospital. The Foundation does not fund on-going hospital operating costs, nor does it become involved in the operation of the hospital.

Our Mission is to support Gordon Memorial Health Services in delivering the highest quality healthcare, by enlisting the financial support of caring individuals and organizations.

We will ensure that the Gordon Memorial Hospital continues to exist and excel as the cornerstone of comprehensive and quality health care in the Gordon community, and surrounding areas.

About Us
The core of the Gordon Memorial Hospital Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of individuals from the community who are interested in the Mission of the Foundation. Each Board member serves a 3 year term. The Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 12 pm in the Joel Hutchins Meeting Room on the main level of the hospital.

What We Do
Community participation makes all the difference.
 
Let's have some fun and raise money for Gordon Memorial Health Services at the same time. There are two types of fundraising events planned and organized by Foundation board members and enthusiastic volunteers. The first is the annual Brews & Barbecue each June in the Gordon City Park.  The second event is a dinner and Auction called Steaks & Stags each fall at the Gordon American Legion.

We are currently working on renovating the lobby at Gordon Memorial Hospital to include an ADA compliant bathroom.

In 2018, we renovated the dining room at Countryside Care and purchased new funiture for the rooms. 

In 2012, two sets of Electric Doors on the main entrance were installed at the Gordon Clinic. Further plans are to refurbish the interior, replace carpeting, upgrade the primary heating and air conditioning unit and repair/paint the exterior of the Gordon Clinic. Additional repairs and refurbishment at Gordon Countryside Care are also being planned and prioritized.
