Dr. Alex White is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She offers a wide range of services including preventive care, chronic disease management, urgent care, women’s health, obstetric care, and newborn care. Dr. White is experienced in caring for patients across the full continuum of life, from newborns to older adults.
Dr. White earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa, where she attended from 2013 to 2017. She completed her Family Medicine residency with Monument Health in Rapid City, South Dakota, from 2017 to 2020, and is board certified in Family Medicine. She further completed an Obstetrics Fellowship at Essentia Health in Duluth, Minnesota, from 2020 to 2021, where she received advanced training in labor and delivery, obstetrical emergencies, and newborn care.
Throughout her career, Dr. White has practiced rural family medicine, providing inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and obstetric care in critical access hospital settings. Her clinical experience includes hospital medicine, emergency care, behavioral health crisis management, osteopathic manual medicine, and advanced procedural care. She is certified in ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATLS.
